Innovations and Advantages
Synapses of amphids defective (SAD-A), mammalian ortholog of a kinase are needed for pre-synaptic differentiation in Caenorhabditis elegans and are also required for neuronal polarization in mammals. These kinases provide entry points for unraveling signaling mechanisms that polarize neurons. SAD-A is expressed in the brain.
This invention is an anti-SAD-A monoclonal antibody against mouse SAD-A (Genbank accession number AY533672), mouse IgG1 monoclonal.
Additional Information
Anti-SAD-A antibody has been tested with mice samples by western blot and immunohistochemistry.
